- A tuxedo is cut closer than a business suit - check the chest before ordering
- Wear a proper evening shirt with studs, not a business button cuff
- Hem the trousers to a slight break over a polished shoe

- Dry clean only - never machine wash or tumble dry
- Brush the jacket after wear and hang it on a wide wooden hanger
- Steam lightly from 20 cm; do not press the cloth flat with an iron
- Satin marks easily; steam only
- Store flat or on a wide hanger to protect the lapel
- Not for daytime weddings
- Do not wear a long tie with the shawl lapel
- Avoid a belt with the evening trousers

“Midnight blue was the right call - in photos it reads black until the light hits it. The shawl lapel is properly satin, not the shiny polyester stuff, and the trousers have a real side stripe. Ordered a 40R at 5'11" and 178 lb; the jacket is close but not tight. Slight wait for stock confirmation but they told me the date up front and hit it.”
