Fit & sizing
- Keep the lower button undone when you sit; the jacket is cut to close on the middle row
- The peak lapel needs a proper collar - wear a spread or cutaway shirt
- If you are broad in the chest, take the size that closes cleanly, not the smallest
Care
- Dry clean only - never machine wash or tumble dry
- Brush the jacket after wear and hang it on a wide wooden hanger
- Steam lightly from 20 cm; do not press the cloth flat with an iron
- A double-breasted jacket should not be pressed open like a single
- Avoid a waistcoat underneath - it adds bulk
- Jetted pockets are not for keys or phones
